{{Happy St. Patty's Day from The Kozell's}}
{{Our front door}}
I felt like being fun and doing ombre {or would it be gradient?} cupcakes with Lucky Charms topping.
The is one of my favorite chalkboards I've done so far. I do them all free-hand. To prep, I do write out the saying on a piece of paper and played with it till I liked the balance between the different fonts. I enjoy doing fun chalkboard designs. It's always changing and I get lost in the zone. I cannot wait to have a whole chalkboard wall in our home one day.
Wearing Maybelline's Color Whisper in Pink Possibilities. I love it. It's light and like a balm but with great color. I get so many compliments when I wear it. I recommend you try it.
I am so happy with my polka dot jeans from Gap. {Thanks Mom!} Pink is the new green on St. Patty's for me. Apparently, the closest color in my closet to green is aqua/mint. Which brings me to my lovely nails. I am really into Essie nail polish. They have so many great colors. I paired Mint Candy Apple and topped it with Set In Stones. Super fun!
And to finish off this busy but fun weekend, check out these totes presh photos of my lovie Loves!!
I am smitten!
Our weekend was SO busy! Brian went on his annual guys trip to Sebring for the 12 hours of Sebring car race. He was gone Friday to Sunday. He's been doing this trip for years and I love it. It's a tradition. It's a guys thing. As we get older it seems like it gets harder and harder to get together with friends in a group. Between jobs, life and responsibilities we seem to try to get together for birthdays at best. Bri can always count on having Sebring with his friends. For me, my aunt came in town from Tennessee for the weekend so I spent a lot of time with my mom and her. It's comical to me because it's my dad's sister coming to stay with my mom. My parents have been divorced since I was three. My aunt and mom were very close way back when and I'm glad they've still got that same bond they can pick right back up on every time they get together. We laughed A LOT. We went to Butterfly World which I have to admit was more fun and interesting than I thought it would be. I did my chalkboard and cupcakes Saturday night. Procrastination much? I did not think it through because I've got B's birthday and Easter to put on the chalkboard. I'll be sad to take this design off the board. Luckily, I have pictures. I am so not looking forward to the work week. I'm already grasping for Friday. The Husband and I will be heading up to B's dad's to celebrate B's birthday early. Let the festivities begin!
