The Husband & I got a waffle maker as a wedding gift.
If you are on Pinterest than you've probably seen the cinnamon roll waffles pictures circulating.
The Husband LOVES cinnamon rolls.
Being the good wife that I am, I showed Husband the "recipe" and he was in. We have since tried different size cinnamon rolls {There are a wide variety of flavors and small or large sizes}
We find that the small cinnamon rolls work better. We buy the Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls with icing {7.3oz canister}. It comes with 5 rolls. If you are going to eat these Saturday and Sunday than you could buy the 8 count but they don't store well for a week if you eat them on Sundays like we usually do.
We have a Calphalon Waffle Maker and have tried cooking the waffles anywhere between medium and high. We've settled on just a notch above medium. Ours beeps when it's done. If we want it a little crisper then we let it go longer...pretty simple.
Most of the time, Brian mans the waffle maker.
These are so much simpler than making waffles from a batter, much cleaner too!
I wanted to share this because it's becoming a bit of a tradition for us. It is always fun to come up with new traditions as a married couple. I hope you will enjoy these and maybe start your own tradition.
Have you ever made Cinnamon Roll Waffles? If not, try it! Then come back and tell me what you think.
Happy Sunday!
