Weekend In Review

Happy Monday!
I'm sick but I'm not going to let it get me down.

Brian and I had a productive weekend. I was so excited to use my Valentine's present {read about it here}. On Saturday, Brian put the painter's tape up high where this vertically challenged lady could not reach and hung the paintings when I was done on Sunday. I painted and B & I did laundry and cleaned together.
I'll be honest, it was getting embarrassing. The dust balls were spawning dust balls. Ha!
This weekend was also ArtiGras {an art show} and we got free tickets so B & I got to spend time with our friends, Dawn, Matt and their most adorable daughter, Riley who is basically my niece  {minus the blood relation}. The some of the art was beautiful but I think the highlight of the trip was the bubble machine in the Kid Zone. Ha!
We ate out more than we should have and rounded out the weekend with dinner with my mother-in-law.
All in all, it was a great weekend...
Until my sore throat kicked in late Sunday night.

Here are some visuals on what we accomplished.
The panels in our living room are pretty light. They are actually slightly darker than they appear in the photos below. The color is called Ionic Sky by Behr. I love it because it works as a neutral blue. Light, not too overpowering so I plan to one day use it all over our future house. When you put it with blue, it's blue. When you put it with aqua/mint it takes on more of an aqua shade. Loves it!

 {Close up...}
{And closer... ;) }
 {The entertainment center that Brian built from scratch. Same color is on the canvases and the bedroom wall below. It looks different in every light and obviously the surfaces the paint is going on are different too.}

{Overhead shot from our loft. 20 foot ceilings means LOTS of white walls. Oh, and the cleanest this living room has been in awhile. Had to get proof that we actually did clean. lol}
{Our master bedroom. Same color. Looks slightly different probably partly due to it being painted over a slightly darker blue and the lighting in the picture.}

How was your weekend? Do anything fun?
