Weekend Recap Part Two: The Color Run

Have you ever heard of The Color Run? If not, you should definitely check it out. I found out about it online back in 2011 or 12. At the time, the closest date happened to be the weekend of my wedding in Orlando. I was bummed because it seemed like such a fun idea. Fast forward a year or two and last month I stumbled across the list of dates and found out The Color Run was coming to Fort Lauderdale. I had already discussed this with my BFF, Ashley, and immediately called her. The plans were set. It was slightly nerve-wracking because I bought my ticket and then we found out  Ash was working the night before and would have to find someone to switch with. This was less than a month before the run. All worked out and we were set to go. Fast forward to the weekend of: Ash comes down with some kind of stomach bug. We still didn't know what was going to happen on Saturday night. The race was Sunday morning.
