Gift Guide: Wedding Festivies

Hi Friends! Is it Friday yet?
Last weekend I finally sat down and ordered gifts for our friends whose wedding we attended this year so far. I know, I know. I am totally late but you have a year, right? I'm extending the wedding fun!! I love to give thoughtful, personalized gifts however I am so indecisive. With Etsy and Pinterest, it can be hard to narrow down your choices. This "struggle" inspired me to put together an all things wedding gift guide as B and I are attending FOUR weddings in 2014 alone. This is certainly the year of weddings for us. We've attended 7 weddings since we started dating in 2006 through 2013. I don't know about you but I always had the toughest time picking out gifts for all the different wedding related festivities. I have actually gotten a lot of inspiration for gifts from things that B and I received while we were engaged. I thought I would share some of my favorite things to gift any happy couple.
1 | Personalized Cutting Board     2 | Burlap Print     3 | Lyrics Print

My sweet friend, Britt gave me the personalized cutting board as a bridal shower gift. To say I love it is an understatement. It is beautiful, well made and functional. The intention is to use the back and be able to display the front. I will say that I have no intention of cutting anything on this. It is so pretty that since the day I brought it home, it has been displayed on the counter in our kitchen. This will not come as a shock if you know me but I am really into anything monogrammed or related to my married last name. I am so happy and proud to be Mrs. Ashley Kozell. Clearly, my blog started as Becoming Mrs. Ashley Kozell and became Newly Kozell. And yes, I am already contemplating what I will eventually call this blog once we start a family but don't let me get ahead of myself. We are not there yet.

We were given the Bride and Groom Tervis Tumblers as an engagement gift. I think any engaged couple loves to celebrate and acknowledge they are a bride and groom. I know I sure did! It is such a small piece of time in life that you are truly a bride or groom. Brian has asked if we have to retire the cups now that we are married but remember, I will always be his bride and he my groom. This is why I love to give this as an engagement gift. I'm not kidding, I have given these to at least 3 couples. It might sound like I am being lazy giving the same gift but no, I truly think these are so special and fun. I know, I'm a little strange that cups are special to me. Deal with it! ;)

We received the Pottery Barn monogrammed throw from my dear friends, Caity and Chrissy as a wedding gift. Again, put a monogram on it and I will adore it that much more. Remember that, my birthday's September 21st. {Hint, Hint haha}

As I come across more ideas, I will update this guide but I thought it was a good jumping off point. I have also had my eye on a monogrammed beach hat from Marley Lilly. I pretty much want to buy the entire website.

Off topic but can you believe it is already May 1st?!
Happy May Y'all!
