Happy Easter Y'all

H*A*P*P*Y      E*A*S*T*E*R
If you follow along with me on here then you know I love a good craft project. I didn't know I could have so much fun with some plastic eggs. As you can tell I went a little egg happy and I love it!!! It is bright and colorful.
Recipe for an Easter Egg Wreath
Styrofoam Wreath {I used a 12"}
Plastic Easter Eggs
Hot Glue Gun
The only thing I would do next time is wrap the wreath in ribbon or yarn. I didn't think it would bother me to have some white showing through but my detail-oriented self thinks it would look more finished if I had wrapped it.

Recipe for Easter Egg Garland
Baker's Twine {I used aqua, of course}
Plastic Easter Eggs {Make sure they have holes in them!}
I think it's pretty self explanatory but string the twine through the holes on 1 side of the egg. ;)

Hit up those after Easter sales and stock up on plastic eggs for next year! I want to string up egg garlands all over our place!
The last 3-4 years I have been painting paper mache eggs. Here is the wreath {I think} I made last year. See this is why I made this blog, so I would remember these sort of things :) We got the beautiful ruffle bowl as a wedding gift and I love putting seasonal items in it like pine cones for fall/winter and the paper mache eggs for the spring. Hmm, what should I do for summer?!

It goes without saying that Cadbury Creme Eggs are essential this time a year. Or if you are my husband, an every day essential all year round.
Today we went to my mother-in-law's house, ate honey baked ham and played croquet. Side note: I am a terrible croquet player. The above picture of me cracking up is when I swung and missed the ball all together. I think I was playing a combination of baseball and golf. At any rate, it wasn't good. LOL But we had a blast and that is what counts. I'm bummed that we didn't get a picture of the group today. I always want to take pictures but forget. Not good for a blogger ;) We got together at Brian's mom's with Grammy, Ricky and Bobby {BILs}, Lilia {SIL} and Amanda {Bob's GF}. The older we get the more complicated it becomes getting everyone together at once. We missed Daniel {BIL} who is away at college.

 I hope the Easter bunny has been good to y'all!

xoxo
