Loving #3 :Thanksgiving Edition

Hi Y'all!

Like many people, I absolutely, positively LOVE the holiday season. In particular, I love any celebration involving delicious food. Here are the things I am loving for a holiday feast and festivities.

1. Any great holiday feast has pie: Pumpkin, Apple, Pecan...oh my! ;) I absolutely adore this ruffle pie plate from Crate & Barrel. I found one similar for half price at Bed, Bath & Beyond. Plus, we still have a credit from our wedding so I promptly ordered it. I am so excited to make a pumpkin pie!

2. I don't even think these need an explanation. I saw these Bacon, Cheddar & Onion Muffins and now I want them. Pretty please?! Husband loves anything bacon related from bacon and peanut butter sandwiches {yes, you read that right. It is amazing and you should try it. Now.} to maple bacon cupcakes. Or just good ol' fashion bacon and fried eggs.

3. I adore pretty, themed dish towels. They can easily and inexpensively add a little festive flair to the kitchen. What I like about this pumpkin dishtowel is that it can be used throughout fall since it is neither Halloween nor Thanksgiving specific.

4. Or how about this Pie Recipe Towel!!

5. This Maple Pumpkin Butter sounds delicious! This is on my must list. Luckily, we still have a credit at Crate & Barrel as well. I am picturing this on toast, waffles, pancakes and muffins. My mouth is officially watering!

6. I love the look of white utensils. These Silicone & Wood Utensils would be great to have while whipping up a Thanksgiving treat.

7. Hubby bought me the Tea & Crumpets Apron for Valentine's Day 2012. I love, love, love it! P.S. If you have a little girl, it comes in a mini size too!

8. If you are going to Thanksgiving at someone else's home, you may want to bring a gift such as this linen Monogramed Wine Bag which I think is so cute. Pottery Barn also has matching coasters and bar towels. It's monogrammed so I want it all!

9. Speaking of monogramming...check out these Alphabet Appetizer Plates! If I could, I would purchase one for each member of the family coming for Thanksgiving to keep track of appetizer plates.

How are you preparing for Thankgiving? 12 days to go! We will be spending it at my Father-in-law's. I am hoping to make pumpkin pie, cranberry sauce, sour cream rolls and possibly my former stepmother's recipe for Corn Pudding which is nothing like pudding. LOL I know it sounds funny but it is delish. Brian approves ;)

I hope you are having a great weekend. As always, it is going by way too fast! It didn't help that I spent 3 hours in Target last night. Yeah, 3 hours. I love walking around stores, looking, putting stuff in my cart, taking ¾ of the stuff out of my cart {lol}...it is relaxing, it clears my head and inspires me. If only I had extra money to buy all the items that inspire me. For now, I walk around with it in my cart for 3 hours! I was productive though. I bought an accessory for our 1 year anniversary/Christmas photos that my sweet friend has offered to take for us next weekend. I bought our christmas wrapping paper which is awesome! I am so excited to wrap presents now! I bought a stocking stuffer for Hubby which I know will make him laugh. And I bought the yummiest smelling Sugar Cookie hand soap. I will share that after Thanksgiving. I am holding off from Christmas posts until then! Trying to anyways ;)

Happy Sunday Y'all!
