Friday's Letters #35

Last Sunday, B & I went to Cracker Barrel for breakfast lunch brunch. It's kind of a running joke at this point. I will tell B that I want to go do something or go eat somewhere and within a week, B is doing it for work and me, I'm left still wanting to go. It's almost comical how often it's happened. After years months of B getting Cracker Barrel at work he decided to take me last weekend. I used to go a lot as a kid but I really haven't been there in a long time. Luckily, there was a 20 minute wait. I say luckily because it gave me an excuse to shop in the store. B is not a shopper. I, on the other hand, can shop in a five foot area for an hour. I wish I was kidding. I can easily spend an hour or two in Publix, wondering the aisles. It's a sickness really. Anyways, so I shopped but didn't buy anything. There were some interesting cookbooks but I could probably find them online cheaper. We saw some cast iron cooking pans that literally had $19.99 crossed out from the manufacturers label and Cracker Barrel had their label on the pans for $22. That was a good laugh.

Here's some pictures from our brunch date:
I had the Oven Fried Chicken with Cheese Grits & Fried Apples (Lunch) and B had French Toast, Eggs & Bacon (Breakfast).

Hubs was the master of the game that's on the table. I don't know what it is called. He figured it out in two tries. Me, not so much!
Now it's time for some Friday's Letters...

Dear Hubby: Thanks for being my rock. And cooking. Lots of cooking. I don't think I could deal with my work schedule if it wasn't for you, my Love. Dear Dawn: I'm looking forward to our lunch date today. From pool parties and going out dancing to being each other's MOH and lunch dates in between work. When did we get so grown up? Dear Color Run: I'm super excited for you because I've been wanting to do this run for a year or two now but I'm afraid I might be doing it alone. Where's the fun in celebrating alone? :/ Dear Job: I thought this week would be easier with FCAT and a light client schedule but instead I feel like it's been a really draining week. TGIF. Dear Weekend: I can't wait to relax and catch up on my life that always seems to be put on hold during the week. I will probably head to the greenmarket since I didn't go last week. B & I are going to lunch with our Moms on Saturday. That should be fun! And I hope to make our homemade laundry detergent. Dear Husband: Happy 4 months & 18 days of marriage. Is it all that you hoped and dreamed it'd be? Yep!
