I love reading Gift Guides on blogs I follow so I thought it would be fun to create one this year since me and the Hubs have decided to exchange cards and not do gifts. It's been feeling like Christmas around here for the last couple months with all the updating we have been doing to the new house. We saved up gift cards from our wedding so we have been able to buy some new things like bedding and kitchen stuff that we never had enough room for in the rental.
This is my way of "shopping" for myself as we budget for the house and the baby!
Heart Fair Isle Socks | J.Crew Moccasins | J.Crew Glass Water Bottle | Anthropologie Initial Mug | UGG Slippers | Hunter Rain Boots | J.Crew Metallic Mug
I know I am a little late to the party but I have definitely been bit by the gold bug. I have slowly been incorporating more gold into my life. Clearly, I lead a very exciting life. I adore the splashes of gold in accessories like the iPhone case {I also love this gold stripes case and this floral case too!}, necklace {both above are available in gold} and mugs on my wish list. Which leads to another thing I adore...initials...and monograms for that matter. If I could, I would monogram the sh*t out of everything ;) In addition to the above list, I would pretty much take anything from Marley Lilly which sells monogrammed gifts. Love it! Looking over my list, I also feel like I am focused on my feet this year as I would really love to indulge in a pair of UGG Slippers. How gorgeous is that plum color? If you answered "totes gorge" than you would be correct. ;) Unfortunately, it is hard to justify $100 slippers living in Florida. Good thing for me, I can justify just about anything. For half the price, you can enjoy the J.Crew moccasins which also look super cute. I think the heart socks from J.Crew are sweet and would look cute lounging around the house and I could wear them with my Lauren Conrad boots. What girl wouldn't want a pair of Hunter Rain Boots? I like the matte navy ones which look classic and versatile however Hunter has great bright colors which would be fun as well. Lastly, I have been looking for another water bottle as I am apparently supposed to be a camel now that I am pregnant. Did that reference even make sense? Point is, I have to drink a lot of water. I have a hard time getting in enough water so a pretty bottle could really be motivating. {See, told you I could justify anything!}
What are you wishing for or dreaming of this Christmas?
