An amazing sunset shot I took while in Sanibel, FL with my mom in 2009.
Hello Friends!
I can't call these Friday's Letters because it is technically not Friday anymore. I don't know why but I turn into such a night owl on the weekends. Probably my attempt to enjoy as much as my downtime as possible.
Time for Letters!
Dear Bri: I am so grateful to be married to my best friend. I know it's a cliche thing to say but it is true. I have the BEST time with you whether we are traveling and doing exciting things or watching paint dry...wait we don't do that...that's boring staying in our pajamas all day, binge watching TV. I love you for all the big reasons and all the little reasons too.
Dear Mom: You will never see this {My mom doesn't even have an email address, she gives my emails...so I get all her junk email. Thanks, Mom! LOL} In the morning {Saturday} you are picking me up, no wait..I'm driving to a surprise location. I have no idea where you are taking me {if you don't hear from me by Monday, send a search party LOL}. This reminds me of when I was little and you would pick me up from my dad's and start driving. It would take me about an hour to start asking why we weren't home yet. It wasn't until Yeehaw Junction that I started to freak out because that's where the Disney signs start. Some of the best memories I have as a kid. {I was little so I had no idea about north and south. Don't ask why it took me so long to ask where we were going, I should have noticed after like 20 minutes}. I'm looking forward to hanging out and relaxing during our quick vacay.
Dear Food Truck Friday: Bri & I always look forward to the 2nd Friday of every month which is when the Food Trucks come to our area. It started in January and we haven't missed one yet! Rain or shine we are out there. We have literally scheduled plans around making sure we can attend the event. Total foodies!
Dear Rebecca: I cannot believe you are moving to Maine this week. I don't know what I'm going to do without our Wednesday girls night! I am going to miss you so so much.
Dear Megan: I am so very happy to have you back on the east coast. It was great going to see The Bling Ring last weekend. I see lots of sushi and cocktails in our future. And I have my movie buddy back, Brian is so thrilled! LOL
Dear Licensing Exam: You are stressing me out but I am taking you one day at a time. Why is the pass rate so low?! Totally psyching me out. I have been saying for a long time that becoming a therapist may drive me to become mentally ill between school, internship, working, becoming a registered intern, supervision, 1500 hours and a national exam. It's enough to drive the sane-est {is that a word?} of people insane!
Dear Dad & Teresa: You two absolutely made Brian & I's day when you told us we will be flying first class to Oregon for my brother's wedding. Dad, you found the only loop hole to get me to fly through Salt Lake City. {Only did that once. I was 17 and I swear, I had plane sickness from the turbulence for about 4 days after the flight. It was horrible. I was thoroughly traumatized and requested demanded to never go through SLC again. Until you dangle first class in front of my face LOL} It is so appreciated considering the travel time is so long. {It's about 10 hours + getting to the airport at least an hour before hand. Not to mention that our flight is at 5:45am. We will be sleeping pretty in first class. Did I mention we're flying first class?! Geeking out! LOL}
Dear Husband: We have been married 225 days. Better yet, there are only 142 days until our 1 year wedding anniversary. And because you know it's coming....do you feel married? I can't believe we're married! :)
Have a great weekend, y'all!!
