Baby size: Avocado {4.5 inches rump to crown as the baby center app says lol}
Total weight gain/loss: 3 lbs - I am actually pretty proud that I haven't just been eating everything in sight since finding out I was knocked up! ;)
Maternity clothes: Not yet but I did receive my first maternity clothing for my birthday from family! I am definitely using the rubber band trick on my jeans and living in my maxi dresses for work and yoga pants at home LOL
Stretch marks: No. I bought Mustela Stretch Marks Cream after reading really good reviews about it even though I read it depends on genetics too. I like that it doesn't feel greasy but I do feel like the scent {which smells like a floral perfume to me} is strong although everything seems to smell strong these days.
Sleep: I was already sleeping pretty good but now I feel like I sleep through the night with my new Bump Nest body pillow. {Thanks for the bday gift, hubby!} I normally sleep on my back so once I found out I was pregnant, I made a conscious effort to start sleeping on my side to get used to it. I'm weird, I know ;)
Best moment this week: Today, we had our 16 week appointment where we got to see and hear Baby! Still the coolest thing ever and Baby was super active today which was neat to see. Most importantly, everything is looking good! Also, revealing the gender of our baby to our family over the last week! We found out on September 25th and I think we have been smiling ever since!
Have you told family and friends: Yes! So fun to celebrate with our family and friends.
Miss anything: Brie and goat cheese, medium-rare steaks, sushi, hot dogs, wine and seasonal beer! I really just miss being able to eat without thinking 'Can I eat this?' but really, it is such a small sacrifice for the amazingness going on inside me.
Movement: Possibly?? On Tuesday, I thought I felt the slightest...something LOL And then Wednesday, I felt 2 pops like popcorn which I read it can feel like so we'll see. I can't wait till I am sure it is Baby!
Food cravings: Fruit, salty and sour things and foods of 5 year olds: animal crackers, kids cereal, peanut butter & banana sandwiches, etc.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Knock on wood, no. I only start to not feel well when I go too long without eating. I feel very, very lucky that I did not get sick during the first trimester. I had a few queasy moments but overall, so thankful I just felt tired. I read that if you take prenatal vitamins for a substantial amount of time {not sure how much} that it can help with sickness. I was taking them for a year and a half when we got pregnant so maybe that's true?
Have you started to show yet: Yes, I definitely have a bump however I think anybody who didn't know would just think I need to lay off the donuts. LOL I think I started to see a difference around week 10. It is definitely more predominant in the evening. I am assuming that is more food baby than baby baby though ;)
Labor signs: No and I better not have any for a very long time!
Belly button in or out: In
Wedding rings on or off: On
Mood: Happy...Brian might beg to differ ;) LOL No really, for the most part I have been in a really good mood but let's just say when someone posted on Brian's Facebook page to say congrats on the pregnancy when I was not even 7 weeks along....my head may have spun around in circles as I screamed curse words that would make a biker gang blush! Apparently, I can go from calm to hysterical to calm again in a matter of seconds. I don't recommend seeing for yourself though ;)
Looking forward to: Revealing Baby's gender and feeling Baby move for sure!
I cannot believe how much this baby bump has grown! The first photo is at 5 ½ weeks.
