Happy 4th of July

Happy Birthday 'Merica!

I am trying a new Citrus Infused Water concoction. This just screams summer to me. I have a hard time getting my daily dose of water so I try to make it interesting. I will let you know how it turns out!

We are spending the day with my mother-in-law, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law and friends. Yesterday was my MIL's birthday so we are having a fun, festive, birthday filled 4th of July. I love s'mores. I am excited to create a festive s'mores bar today. I went all out picking up the classic Hershey's milk chocolate bar. A few months ago, I had a Reese's cup s'more at a friend's wedding and it was so yummy that I couldn't wait to have it again. I wanted to experiment with dark and white chocolate as well. And how fun are those marshmallows?! The perfect shape for s'mores. Even though I usually end up eating just a ton of toasted marshmallows and leave the graham crackers and chocolate behind.

Of course, no post is really complete without these two fur-babes! Here are some photos from our week. As always, they provide tons of cuteness and endless personality. Little Bella is turning 11 this December. Five pounds of fury! And crazy Lola likes to stay centered by practicing her yoga moves in the morning. She wanted me to let you know she invented the downward dog contrary to popular belief...and post-its for that matter! {Romy & Michele's High School Reunion, anyone?}
