An impromptu trip to Disney on Nov 2nd while my Stepmom & Sister were in town for my Bridal Brunch. My Dad & Brian were lucky enough to tag along ;)
Dear Brian: I'm kind of dreaming about having a date night. Remember those? I barely do. Ha! Apparently this is what happens when you spend nearly every weekend working on wedding stuff. I mean we spend most of our weekends together and talk a whole bunch but most conversations end in more wedding talk. I'm starting to get tired of hearing myself {I know you're making a sarcastic remark in your mind right now!} Maybe Saturday night? Hint, Hint! ;)
Dear Blog: Posts have been pretty sporadic these days with all the work and wedding planning. I have so many wedding details that I want to share on here. We've worked really hard and I also want to be able to remember these details years from now. And maybe, just maybe I will inspire someone else for their wedding or party the way Pinterest and Etsy have inspired me.
Dear Second Dress Fitting: You are tomorrow! I am so excited to see it all hemmed and sized. The poor alterations lady probably took one look at my dress and thought, "I'm quiting!" In an effort to make sure I don't give too many details...I'll have to post about the alterations after the wedding.
Dear Hair & Make-Up Trial: I'm so smart. I scheduled you on the day of my dress fitting so I might actually have some idea how the whole look will be put together. I'm also dreading having the "Don't touch my eye brows" talk. When you have blonde eye brows, everyone else just wants to paint those suckers right on to me. Guess what, I see a clown in the mirror. Only once did I let them give me eye brows and they weren't even super dark or anything but still I think I look ridiculous.
Dear Future Sister-in-law: I am SO excited for our Spa Day on Saturday. I can't wait to get mani/pedi and have lunch and relax. Thank you for an amazing bridal shower gift.
Dear Engagement: Brian & I have been engaged for more than 520 days. On our wedding day it will be 540 days - 10 days shy of a year and a half. That sounds so long and yet the time has flown by {which feels like a cliché thing to say}. It's crazy to me when you are actually aware of time. Normally, a year and a half can go by and you may not even notice because the future holds exciting things so why look back? In the last year and a half Brian started his career, I graduated with my master's and got a big girl job, at least 8 friends have moved {you notice these things when you need addresses for save-the-dates and all our other invitations}, several people on my Facebook have gotten engaged, married or had a baby in the time that Brian & I have been engaged. What a difference a year and a half makes! Before we got engaged I had always said I wanted to be engaged for a year. I wanted to enjoy this short time in our lives between dating and marriage. It is such a small piece of time and I didn't want to rush through it because the planning process can seem overwhelming at times. I'm just really thankful that the overwhelming-ness of all the decisions hasn't really sunk in until the last few weeks as the final details are laid out. Now I'm just reminding myself that we've done our best to create our wedding and things are not going to go exactly how I see them in my head and it's fine. Sorta. I spent a year and a half planning ONE day. No pressure ;)
Dear Fiancé: Only 15 short days until our wedding! I still don't think it has really sunk in that one of the best days of our lives is just around the corner. I love my FH, Love your FW.
Okay, my letter to my engagement is more like a novel!
Here are some more pictures from our whirlwind Disney trip. We hit Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom & Epcot in 5 hours. Hopper passes rock!

Brian & I on this crazy rocket ride that's for little kids but had us hanging on for dear life & dizzy LOL We were squished in a tiny rocket because Hannah wanted to ride in her own. We were outsmarted by my Dad & Stepmom who opted to sit this ride out!
