Happy 20th Friday's Letters to my blog!
Dear Brian: Your awesomeness exceeded itself tonight when you went on our regular hour-long walk even though it was barely sprinkling practically pouring as soon as we got out the door. True story.
Dear Holiday Season: I love this time of year but I feel like I have absolutely no time to spend on creating fun decorations {Pinterest-inspired natch} due to the holidays being trumped by our wedding. The Christmas tree skirt I started making before LAST Christmas will most certainly not be done by this Christmas. I have a felt wreath to make that is still in the packaging. We haven't even bought a pumpkin yet. I feel like I'm at this weird stage where I can't get into Halloween this year. I'm feeling too old not interested in dressing up for halloween and going out to Moon Fest but don't have kids to take trick-or-treating either. I'm afraid Halloween is going to be kind of a bore this year. That's okay, we have plenty of fun Halloweens in our future.
Dear Wedding Dress: I am so excited to go for my first fitting on Saturday! My mom is going with me which will be really special and fun to do together. Saturday it will be 6 weeks till the wedding.
Dear Colored Jeans: You make it feel a little more like fall since it is still hitting 90 degrees in October.
I feel like the whole colored pants {and shorts for that matter} trend was just made for me. I LOVE colorful clothes. I have mint, lavender and reddish-orange jeans. I have coral, hot pink, aqua and lavender shorts. I've been rocking colorful bottoms for years...now I just look like I know what's going on in the fashion world.
Dear Bachelorette Party: This is the one wedding event that I have no idea about. I have given suggestions but I have no clue what we are actually doing. I mean my only request was strippers and cake not going bar hopping. That's just not how this old lady gets down anymore! 15 days till the mystery is solved!
Dear Bridal Brunch: 16 days until I'm celebrating with some of the most important women in my life at The Breakers!
Dear Blog: I have so many things I want to capture on here for Brian and I to look back on but SO.LITTLE.TIME. Hang in there, I'll get there slowly but surely.
Dear Blog Readers: I'm taking suggestions for what you think I should name my blog AFTER I become Mrs. Ashley Kozell. I have a couple of ideas but I'd love to hear your suggestions. :)
Dear Fiancé: I am lucky enough to be marrying you, my best friend and biggest supporter, in 43 days!!

Love those colored jeans! I haven't been brave enough to try that trend yet! And I feel your pain about the 90 degree weather in late October...we can't seem to get below that here in AZ! Stopping by from the link up! :) Happy Friday!
ReplyDeleteYou should DEFINITELY try the colored jeans trend...they literally brighten my mood! It is good to know I'm not alone with the ridiculous temperatures in fall. Seems like everyone has actual fall weather with boots and scarves...sigh. :)
